Heroly — The Free Dog Walking App That Helps Shelter Dogs Too

Dog lovers be aware: a new dog walking and pet care app called Heroly can help you connect with friends and neighbors or “Heroes” to look after your dog when you can’t be there. Its peer-to-peer network allows you to find trusted people in your neighborhood who are available to walk or feed your dog. Keeping it local means you have a better idea of who is watching your dog, and a greater likelihood they’ll be available for last minute check-ins.

The signup process is easier than its competitors like Wag! and Rover, however as it is still new, service in some areas is limited. Depending on where you live you might not be able to find help quickly.

What makes it even better — 20% of they profits are donated to a different animals shelter each month. You can even vote on which one!
